If it wasn't clear before that the girls were learning as much from observing us doing "normal things" as from us actively teaching them, it sure is now! I came into the room a few days ago and saw this. The dialogue is my best guess of her little Sunniva-speak noises that she was making as she, without prompting or seeing either of us on the phone in the last few hours, decided to take a call.
"Hi Daddy! I'm on the phone! Can you hear me?"
"Yeah, it's the new Motorola "Prickly Block" RAZR. When I saw they had it in neon grellow (that's green/yellow), I just HAD to have it. It's darling, and holds all the pictures I've ever taken. Plus the talk time is amazing!"
"Wait, what? I'm having trouble hearing you. Are you there? Are you there? Hello?"
"OK, you know what? I'm going to have to call you back. Yeah, the signal's not so great, and anyway Ace is playing with one of my toys so I've got to dash and get it back. Yes, you too! Kisses!"
Ace has since also had phone conversations. I couldn't believe it the first time I figured out what they were up to! Tune in for more conversations soon, including "What do you mean another 10 inches of snow by the weekend?" and "We've got to plan a new clothing coordination strategy for daycare."

I'll have to print it out to show you in 14 years (or 12? or 10? or....) when you're watching the real thing!
That was hilarious!
